When a VersaCall Technician is assisting you with an issue they may ask for your Log File(s).
1. Open the VT3000 web interface – log in with your user name and password – select Diagnostics – select Logs from the diagnostics page.
2. When the Logs page loads you will see a screen similar to the one below.
a. VersaCall Logs – view logs concerning the VersaCall software. b. System Logs – view logs concerning operating system. c. Log File – shows the name of the selected log. Down arrow will list all log files.
3. Icons at the top right of the page apply to all log files:
a. - When icon is faded, logs will refresh every 15 seconds. b. - When icon is faded, logs will not refresh. c. - Manually refresh the logs. d. - Download a zip file of all logs. e. - Send a zip file of all current logs to VersaCall. Email must be enabled.
4. Icons to the right side of the Log File field apply to the selected log file:
a. - Delete the selected log file. b. - Download a copy of the selected log file.
5. If you select to download the selected log file, a popup will show at the bottom of the page – click on the Save button. The file will save in the same location as all other downloaded files.
6. If you select to download all of the current log files, the popup will be the same except it will list “VT3000Logs.zip” as the file name. The procedure to save is the same as above.
7. If you select to send the log files to VersaCall, a message will appear after the email has been sent specifying if it was successful.
