VPIV - Edit a Custom Defined Color

Overview
Defined colors are created to help reduce panel editing time. This feature is best used when you have more than one panel using the same color(s) for cells or text. There are 2 types of defined colors that can exist in your system, Standard & Custom. The instructions below will explain how to edit a Custom Defined Color


Requirements
See Requirements Here
1. The VT3000 Core Software installed and running on your system.
2. VPIV - Virtual Panels IV software installed and running on your system.
3. At least one Custom Defined Color created in the system.

Step 1.
Open the VT3000 web interface - select VPIV button from the welcome page.

Step 2.
Select the Defined Colors icon.

Step 3.
Select the Custom Defined Color, that you want to change, from the list.

Step 4.
The Color Properties will load on the right side of the Defined Colors list. The following properties are shown.

ID - an ID number created by the software will show here.
Name - the name of the defined color.
Description - if a description was entered it will show here.
Custom - the Custom radio button will be highlighted.
Color Swatch & Hex (RGB) - the current color and Hex will show here.
Save - anytime changes are made to an existing color, the Save button must be used to save those changes.




Step 5.
Use the RGB color sliders to create a new custom color or enter a new Hex (RGB) code in the field next to the color swatch.

Step 6.
Select the Save button below the color swatch once you have created the color you want.

Step 7.
The edit to your color is complete. View any panels that use this Defined Color, they will now reflect the change.
