VRS Definition Groups

Overview
The objective of the definition groups is to define the alarms, processes, counts and data fields that make up the report - according to the configuration.

Step 1.
Select a template from the list - only reports that support definition groups will be shown.

Step 2.
Select an existing definition group to edit or select the Add button.

Step 3.
Overview of the options shown on the Available portion of the setup:

Name - enter or edit the name of the group.
Available - use select to choose the device from a group. Use Search to search for a device by name.
Device - use the down arrow to select a device.
Depth - select the depth of monitoring points to show.
List - a list of monitoring points for the device will populate - select the monitoring point to add to the group.
Type - check the types of monitoring points to show in the list.




Step 4.
Overview of the options shown on the Included portion of the setup:

Add - once a monitoring point is selected from the Available list, select the Add button to add it to the group (Included List).
Remove - select a monitoring point from the included list and select the Remove button to remove it from the group.
Descriptor - use the down arrow to select the type of descriptor to add the monitoring point to. A descriptor would be Production, Count, Downtime Reason, etc.
List - depending on the type of descriptor selected, the list of included monitoring points will populate in the list.




Step 5.
