Overview
Android HDMI Mini PC Devices are designed to plug into an existing TV/Monitor that cannot be connected to your network. The device has an application installed on it that allows you to view Real-Time Panels save on the VersaCall system. The instructions below will explain how to connect the device to your TV/Monitor and connect it to Wi-Fi if required.

1. The VT3000 Core & Virtual Panels IV software installed and running on your system.
2. 1 Panel configured in the Virtual Panels IV software.
3. 1 TV/Monitor with a HDMI connection.
4. Ethernet - cable and available port.
5. Wi-Fi - network name and password. The Wi-Fi network must be able to access the same network that the VersaCall Server/Computer is connected to.
6. IP Address of the VersaCall Server/Computer.

Step 1.
Place the Remote USB Dongle into the USB port on the side of the Android device.

Step 2.
Connect the Power Cord to the input on the back of the Android Device. If you are using an Ethernet connection, plug in the cable to the port to the left of the power input.

Step 3.
Plug in the HDMI connector on the Android Device into an available HDMI port on your TV/Monitor.

Step 4.
If you are using a Wi-Fi connection you will need to get that connected first, follow the directions below. If you are using an Ethernet connection, please skip down to Step 12.
Plug in power for the Android Device & TV/Monitor. When the TV/Monitor is powered on, you may need to select the HDMI Input with the remote.
Using the Remote Control provided with the Android Device, click the OK button on the remote to enable the arrow/pointer. Move the remote around to control the arrow/pointer.
There will be a Settings icon at the bottom of the screen. Move the arrow/pointer over this icon and click on the OK button on the Remote.

Step 5.
A list of options will be shown on the Settings page - select the Network & Internet option.

Step 6.
There will be a Wi-Fi option at the top of the page with an toggle on the right side. Click on the toggle to turn on Wi-Fi.

Step 7.
The message for Wi-Fi will change and show Not Connected - click on this area.

Step 8.
After 30 to 60 seconds you will see a list of available Wireless Network connections. Click on the one for your company.

Step 9.
A pop-up Password screen will appear along with a virtual keyboard. Use the keyboard and remote to type in the correct Wi-Fi password. Once the password has been entered, click on the Connect option at the bottom right of the pop-up.

Step 10.
After a few minutes you will see the network you selected show as Connected. If it does not connect, please contact your IT department to ensure you have the correct password and network selected.

Step 11.
Select the Home icon (circle) at the bottom of the screen.

Select the Configure Panel Viewer icon on the screen.

Step 13.
The Configure Panel Viewer page will load on the screen. In the Options section, ensure that only Start on Boot is check marked. In the Reload Timer section, ensure the 60 is entered.

Step 14.
In the Application section, select Virtual Panels IV. Click on the Server section, a virtual keyboard will appear on the screen. Use the keyboard to enter the IP Address of the VersaCall Server/Computer.

Step 15.
In the Type section, select either Panel or Rotating Panel depending on the type you wish to view on the TV/Monitor. Click in the Panel section where is says Select a Panel or Select a Rotating Panel depending on the option you selected.

Step 16.
A list of Panels or Rotating Panels will populate on the screen. Select the Panel or Rotating Panel you wish to view on this TV/Monitor from the list.

Step 17.
After a Panel or Rotating Panel is selected, the list will be removed from the screen. The Panel or Rotating Panel that you selected will now show.

Step 18.
When all the settings are correct, click on the Home (circle) icon at the bottom of the screen.

On the Home screen select the Simple Panel Viewer icon.

Step 20.
The screen will turn black with a message saying it is connecting the the VersaCall Server/Computer.

Step 21.
After a 30 to 60 seconds the Panel or Rotating Panel you setup will appear on the screen.

Step 22.
This completes the setup of the Mini PC (Android Device). If the device or the TV/Monitor ever has power cycled, the Panel or Rotating Panel will automatically reload - no further setup is needed.
