User Groups are used to set up permissions in a group to be assigned to individual users. In the group you can set up permissions for VT3000 Core Software, VersaCall Reporting Software, AMS and Connectivity.

1. Open the VT3000 web interface – log in with your username and password – select Administration from the main menu – select User Groups from the Administration menu.

2. On the User Groups page you will see a list of user groups that have already been created. By default the system comes with an Administrator user group - click on the Add button to add a new group.

3. On the Edit User Group page, you will see a few options at the top of the page.

a. User Group Name – enter a name for the user group being created.

b. User Group ID – this is assigned by the VT3000 software.

c. Application – click on the down arrow in the field to get a list of all software available for setup.

4. Once a software title has been selected the page will load all possible permissions. Each will have a selection that can be enabled by clicking on the box next to it which will place a check mark in it – examples of each below:

5. After selecting all the options needed for a particular software title – click on the Save & Exit button to save it or the Discard & Exit button to remove it.

General Information

  • User Groups define specific permissions within all VersaCall software.
  • All Users must be assigned to a specific User Group.


Requirements

  • The VT3000 Core Software installed and running on your system.
  • Permission to Add or Edit a User Group.

Instructions

Open the VT3000 web interface – select VT3000 Core Software - log in – select Administration – select Users.


Select the Add button to add a new group.


User Group Properties:
  • User Group Name – enter a name for the user group.
  • User Group ID – assigned by the VT3000 software.
  • Application – select the down arrow for list of software.


Below is an image of the VT3000 Permissions that can be enabled. To enable a permission, click on the box next to the item/permission you want to enable.


Below is an image of the VersaCall Reporting Software Permissions that can be enabled. To enable a permission, click on the box next to the item/permission you want to enable.


Below is an image of the AMS Permissions that can be enabled. To enable a permission, click on the box next to the item/permission you want to enable.


Below is an image of the Connectivity Permissions that can be enabled. To enable a permission, click on the box next to the item/permission you want to enable.


Below is an image of the Virtual Panels IV Permissions that can be enabled. To enable a permission, click on the box next to the item/permission you want to enable.


Mark the specific permissions required for each application - select Save & Exit when complete.
