Overview
Defined colors are created to help reduce panel editing time. This feature is best used when you have more than one panel using the same color(s) for cells or text. Creating the defined color allows you to select it over multiple panels. Without a Defined Color(s) you would have to edit each color in each individual cell in every panel. There are 2 types of defined colors that can be created, Standard & Custom. The instructions below will explain how to create a Standard Defined Color.


Requirements

1. The VT3000 Core Software installed and running on your system.
2. VPIV - Virtual Panels IV software installed and running on your system.

Step 1.
Open the VT3000 web interface - select VPIV button from the welcome page.

Step 2.
Select the Defined Colors icon..

Step 3.
Click on the Add button at the bottom of the Defined Colors list.

Step 4.
The Color Properties will load on the right side of the Defined Colors list. By default, the Standard Radio button will be selected. The following properties are shown/available.

ID - this field is handled by the VP IV software.
Name - enter a name for the defined color.
Description - enter a description for the defined color if needed.
Standard - if the Standard Radio button is not selected - select it before proceeding.
Color List - select one of the colors from the list of Colors.
Save - a thumbnail of the color will show above the Save button - click on the Save button once you have selected the color needed.




Step 5.
The new Standard Color that you created will now show in the Defined Colors list.
