VPIV - Update a Media File (Image)

Overview
After an image has been uploaded to VPIV you can update the image/file. The instructions below explain how to update an image/media file that has already been uploaded into VPIV.


Requirements
See Requirements Here
1. The VT3000 Core Software installed and running on your system.
2. VPIV - Virtual Panels IV software installed and running on your system.
3. At least 1 Image uploaded to the system.

Step 1.
Open the VT3000 web interface - select VPIV button from the welcome page.

Step 2.
Select the Media Files icon.

Step 3.
Click on the File that you want to update the image on from the Media Files list.

Step 4.
The Image Properties will load on the right side of the Media Files list. The following properties are shown/available.

Media Name - name entered when the file was uploaded.
File Path - location that the file is saved in on the VersaCall system.
File Revision - each time the image is updated, the Revision number will increase by 1.
Display Fit - fit that was selected when the image was uploaded.
Height - the height in pixels of the uploaded image.
Width - the width in pixels of the uploaded image.
Upload New Version - button selected when a new/revised image needs to be uploaded to the system.




Step 5.
Click on the Upload New Version button.

Step 6.
Click on the Choose File button in the pop-up menu.

Step 7.
Navigate to the location where the image is saved on your computer - double click on the image file.

Step 8.
Select the type of fit required for the image on the pop-up menu.

Step 9.
Click on the Upload File button on the pop-up menu.

Step 10.
The image specifics will be removed. In the top left corner of the page you will see a message stating the image was uploaded.
