VPIV - Upload an Image

Overview After an image has been uploaded to VPIV it may need to be updated or removed from the system. The instructions below explain how to edit or remove an image.

Requirements See Requirements Here 1. The VT3000 Core Software installed and running on your system. 2. VPIV - Virtual Panels IV software installed and running on your system. 3. At least 1 image file saved as a JPEG, PNG, GIF or BMP file format.

Step 1. Open the VT3000 web interface - select VPIV button from the welcome page.

Step 2. Select the Media Files icon.

Step 3. Select the Upload New button at the bottom of the Media Files list.

Step 4. Select the Choose File button on the pop-up menu.

Step 5. Navigate to the location where the image is saved on your computer - double click on the image file.

Step 6. Fill in the following information on the pop-up menu: Media Name - enter a name for the image being uploaded. Select File - this will contain the location of the file selected in step above. Fit - Stretch - select this Fit to stretch the image to fill the entire cell in the panel. Fit - Keep Aspect Ratio - select this Fit to stretch the image to fill the cell, but the image will keep its original aspect ratio. Fit - Original Size - select this Fit to keep the image at its original size regardless of the size of the cell. Upload - click on the Upload New File button once all information is entered.

Step 7. After selecting the Upload New button, you will see a message appear at the top left of the screen stating if the upload was successful.

Step 8. The new image file will show in the Media Files list.

Step 9. Click on the image file in the list to get a preview and specifics about the file.
