VT3000 - Adjust Number of Repeats - Phone

Overview After setting up a Phone Number initially, you may want to adjust the number of times the message is repeated once the contact answers the call. This guide will explain how to make that adjustment to the Output Classification.

Requirements See Requirements Here 1. The VT3000 Core Software installed and running on your system. 2. Phone Modem installed and configured in the VT3000 Core software. 3. At least one Output setup as a Phone Number.

Step 1. Open the VT3000 web interface – select VT3000 Core Software - log in – select Configuration – select Outputs. Configuration Outputs

Step 2. Select the Phone Number in the list - select Edit button.

Step 3. Make note of the Classification Name. In our example it is Office Extension, yours may be different. Select the Modify link next to the Classification field.

Step 4. Select the Classification Name you noted in the previous step.

Step 5. The Classification properties will show on the right side of the list. Scroll down the list until you see the Number of Replays field.

Step 6. By default the replays will be set to 2, enter the number of replays that you want - select the Save button at the bottom of Classification properties.

Step 7. Select the "X" to close the Phone Classifications window.

Step 8. Select Save & Exit on the Outputs page.

Step 9. Any other Phone Number that has the same Classification will now get the number of replays you setup in the steps above. This is a global change, it is not specific to the individual Phone Number unless they have a different Classification selected.
