If you are having trouble with a radio channel, reconnected a radio or added a new radio you will want to test the channels setup in the software to ensure they are behaving correctly. To use this guide you must already have the channels programmed into the VT3000 software and the radio must be connected to the Control Unit. If you have not done this you will need to complete those steps first or call VersaCall for assistance.

1. Open the VT3000 web interface – log in – from the main menu click on Communications.

2. On the Communications page click on Outputs - click on the down arrow for the Destination Type field – select Radio Channel.

3. Select one of the channels from the list by clicking on it so that it is highlighted.

4. We recommend unchecking the Text-To-Speech option as it tends to be at a very low volume. Select the “test123.wav” file from the Audio file drop down list click on the Send button.

5. Listen to the channel on your radio for the message. If no message is played, repeat the steps. For further assistance with a non-responsive radio, contact VersaCall Support.

Overview
Once a Radio Channel has been added to the system, it can be tested to ensure the setup is correct.


Requirements
See Requirements Here
1. The VT3000 Core Software installed and running on your system.
2. A Radio Module connected & installed on the computer (LPT Port).
3. Radio must be setup inside the VT3000 Core Software.
4. A Channel configured as an Output in the VT3000 Core Software.

Step 1.
Open the VT3000 web interface – select VT3000 Core Software - log in – select Communications.
