VT3000 - Add a Teams Channel

Overview VT3000 can be setup to post messages to a Teams Channel if the facility has an Office 365 subscription. To facilitate this type of Output, the facility IT Department will need to provide an Incoming Web Hook. Without this information, the Channel cannot be successfully setup. Requirements See Requirements Here 1. The VT3000 Core Software installed and running on your system. 2. VT3000 Teams Plug-In installed. 3. Incoming Webhook address for the Teams Channel that will be used for the messages.

Step 1. Open the VT3000 web interface – select VT3000 Core Software - log in – select Configuration – select Outputs. Configuration Outputs

Step 2. Select the Teams Channel icon from the Add New list.

Step 4. Teams Channel Properties: Output ID – assigned by the VT3000 software. Output Name – enter a name for the Channel. Webhook URL – enter the Incoming Webhook provided by IT.

Step 5. Teams Channel Availability: Not Available – no messages will be posted to the Channel. Always - messages will be posted 24 hours a day 7 days a week to the Channel. During Specific Shifts - select the Schedule to be used - select the Shift(s) (check the box) the Channel is to have messages posted during.

Step 5. Click on the Save & Exit button - select Save & Add New to add multiple phones - select Discard & Exit to exit without saving.
