VT3000 - Replace MP3 Files - Audio Module

Overview If you need to replace the MP3 files that are pre-recorded on your MP3 module, please follow the instructions below.

Requirements See Requirements Here 1. An MP# Wireless Audio Module. 2. An SD Card Reader on or attached to a computer that can be used for this process. 3. 1 to 5 MP3 files to replace the pre-recorded files. 4. The SD Card from inside the I/O Module.

Step 1. Remove the SD card from the Audio Module. Push in on the SD Card to release it.

Step 2. Insert the SD card into your reader or computer.

Step 3. Open the SD card - delete the MP3 files present on the card. DO NOT REMOVE the MODE.txt file.

Step 4. Copy the new MP3 files onto the SD card. Rename the files according to the naming scheme shown below: 001(File Name).mp3 - this song will play on Output 1. 002(File Name).mp3 - this song will play on Output 2. 003(File Name).mp3 - this song will play on Output 3. 004(File Name).mp3 - this song will play on Output 4. 005(File Name).mp3 - this song will play on Output 5.

Step 5. Once all the files are renamed - remove the card from the reader/computer. NOTE: if the files are not named as shown in the previous step - the song Will Not Play when triggered.

Step 6. Insert the SD card back into the MP3 Audio Module. Push the card in until it clicks.

Step 7. Test the module by setting the appropriate calls or buttons that trigger the songs in your facility.
