Overview
A Wireless Audio Module is a device that uses a speaker and IO module to play sound/songs. These modules can be activated by any input device. The example in the guide is using 5 sounds/songs.


Requirements
See Requirements Here
1. The VT3000 Core Software installed and running on your system.
2. A Coordinator must be setup, powered and communicating with the VT3000 Core Software.
3. An MP3 Wireless Audio Module powered and communicating with the system.
4. At least one Call Station, BSC, TIM, PSM, PC Call Station, PC BSC or PC Input Modules Configuration setup in the VT3000 Software.

Step 1.
Open the VT3000 web interface – select VT3000 Core Software - log in – select Configuration – select Devices.

Step 2.
Select I/O Module from the Add New list.

Step 3.
Properties Tab - Enter a name in Device Name field - select Mixed 4I/6O for I/O Module Type.

Step 4.
Select the Discrete Outputs tab.

Select Discrete Output 1 from the list of Outputs.

Step 6.
There are 2 Types that apply to a Wireless Light - Normal & Related. Below is a screen shot of each type and a Properties description:

Normal Related
Description – enter a name for the output – song name or song number.
Type – there are 3 options available - Disabled, Normal, Related.
Inverted – output will do the opposite of normal.
Default State – what the output will do when no commands/actions have been received.
On Delay – number of milliseconds to elapse before the output turns on.
Off Delay – number of milliseconds to elapse before the output turns off.
Blink On – not applicable to audio module.
Blink Off – not applicable to audio module.
Direct – available when set as a Related Output Type. Duplicates the action of the selected output.
Inverse – available when set as a Related Output Type. Does the opposite of the selected output.




Step 7.
The setup for each of the 5 songs is the same. Select the Output number - enter the song name - select Normal for Type. Below is the setup for each of the 5 songs - setup each one exactly as shown.

Step 8.
This audio module has a power switch that powers the speaker ONLY when a song is played - the setup for this is shown below.

Description - enter Power Switch.
Type - select Related.
Inverted - select this - ensure the checkmark shows in the box.
On Delay - leave this as zero.
Of Delay - leave this as zero.
Direct - do not check any of the options.
Inverse - select DO1, DO2, DO3, DO4 & DO5 - ensure a checkmark shows in each box.




Step 9.
When all the Songs & Power Switch outputs are setup - select the Save & Exit button.

Step 10.
The configuration will need to be sent to the device.

Step 11.
Once you have setup the Audio Module you will need to setup the Alarms/Buttons that will trigger the song to play.
