Overview
When a new pager is ordered, a capcode will need to be set up unless you have made arrangements with VersaCall to pre-program the pagers. To find all existing pager capcodes use the print out function for Outputs Click Here.


Requirements
See Requirements Here
1. The VT3000 Core Software installed and running on your system.
2. Paging Transmitter plugged in and working on your system.
3. An available Capcode. Obtain this by looking at a printout of all existing Pagers.

Instructions


Step 1.
The pager must be in Program mode before any changes can be made.
Turn the pager off and remove the battery.
Hold the Enter button down while simultaneously re-inserting the battery.
After the battery is seated, keep holding the Enter button until the password screen appears.
Once the password screen shows on the screen - press the Power button.

Step 2.
The Frequency will be set correctly - press the Power button.

Step 3.
To program a new Capcode, you will use a combination of the buttons.
Use the Right arrow button to move the cursor to a specific digit/number.
Use the Enter button to change the value of the digit/number.
Once you have made the changes, press the Power button.

Step 4.
The Baud Rate will be set correctly - press the Power button.

Step 5.
The Password will be set correctly - press the Power button.

Step 6.
The Contrast will be set correctly - press the Power button.

Step 7.
The pager will reboot and display a Pass message on the screen. If you do not receive a Pass message, please contact VersaCall Support for assistance.
