Before using this guide, you will need to have a PSM, TIM, BSC or Call Station configured with alarms or a process (TIM, BSC & PSM only). You will also need to have a wireless audio device setup and configured. All the devices need to be powered and showing on the Device Status screen.

1. Click on the Configuration icon on the Main menu click on Devices icon on the Configuration menu.

2. Select any device that has alarms set up in the configuration - click on the Edit button.

3. Click on the Monitoring Points tab.

4. Lights can be setup for a Process or for an Alarm. For this example, we will use an Alarm, select the alarm from the root.

Overview
When a Wireless Audio device is added to a system (MP3 or Tone) other devices can trigger songs/tones to be played. Playing songs/tones from other devices is setup in the Actions tab of an alarm or process.


Requirements
See Requirements Here
1. The VT3000 Core Software installed and running on your system.
2. A Coordinator must be setup, powered and communicating with the VT3000 Core Software.
3. A Wireless Audio Module powered and communicating with the VT3000 Software.
4. A Wireless Audio Module configured in the VT3000 Software.
5. A Call Station, BSC, TIM, PSM, PC Call Station, PC BSC or PC Input Module configured in the VT3000 Software.

Step 1.
Open the VT3000 web interface – select VT3000 Core Software - log in – select Configuration – select Devices.

Step 2.
Select an Existing Device with an Alarm or Process that you want to trigger a song with - select the Edit button.

Select the Monitoring Points tab.

Select an Alarm or Process.

Select the Actions tab on the right side of the Root in the Monitoring Points Properties.

State – select the state of the alarm/process to initiate the action.
Type – 3 options are available - only the Modify Discrete Output on Another Device is used for Audio Modules
Action – 3 options are available Turn On, Turn Off & Blink. Only the Turn On or Turn Off is used for Audio Modules.
Device – use the down arrow to select a wireless audio module.
Output – select the specific song/output to be manipulated by the action.
