Devices

A Device is any VersaCall input module, wireless light module or wireless audio module. Each of these devices must be setup first before it can be used.

Device Abilities

Each device has a specific duty in the VT3000 system. To accomplish the task, each module has a specific set of monitoring points, outputs and inputs that can be created/add to it. Each of the icons shown below also show in the Add list when adding a device.



Basic Functionality



Device Properties

When a device is added, edited or copied there will be up to 6 tabs available. See Device Abilities for a list of available tabs for each type of device. Scroll down to the appropriate section on this page to navigate to the properties of each tab.

Monitoring Points

After selecting the Monitoring Points tab, there will be up to 4 monitoring points available to be added. Select the icon to visit the page outlining the properties.



Discrete Outputs

After selecting the Discrete Outputs tab, there will be 7 outputs available to be set up. Select the image below to visit the page outlining the properties.



Discrete Inputs

After selecting the Discrete Inputs tab, there will be 4 inputs available to be set up. Select the image below to visit the page outlining the properties.



Indicators

After selecting the Indicators tab, the indicators will be set up individually. Select the image below to visit the page outlining the properties.



Virtual Inputs

After selecting the Virtual Inputs tab, the inputs will be setup individually. Select the image below to visit the page outlining the properties.



Communications

After setting up an Alarm, the Communications tab will be available. Select the image below to visit the page outlining the properties.



Actions

After setting up an Alarm, Process, Data Field of Sampler the Actions tab will be available. Select the image below to visit the page outlining the properties.
