VT3000 Devices
Devices
A Device is any VersaCall input module, wireless light module or wireless audio module. Each of these devices must be setup first before it can be used.
Device Abilities
Each device has a specific duty in the VT3000 system. To accomplish the task, each module has a specific set of monitoring points, outputs and inputs that can be created/add to it. Each of the icons shown below also show in the Add list when adding a device.
PSM Alarm, Data Field, Process, Sampler, Output, Input, Indicator, Virtual Input
TIM Alarm, Data Field, Process, Sampler, Output, Input
BSC Alarm, Data Field, Process, Sampler, Output
PC Input Module Alarm, Data Field, Process, Sampler, Virtual Input

Basic Functionality
Add Device - select the icon of the device to Add.
Edit Device - select device - select Edit button.
Delete Device - select device - select Delete button.
Copy Device - select device - select Copy button.
Device Properties
When a device is added, edited or copied there will be up to 6 tabs available. See Device Abilities for a list of available tabs for each type of device. Scroll down to the appropriate section on this page to navigate to the properties of each tab.
Monitoring Points
After selecting the Monitoring Points tab, there will be up to 4 monitoring points available to be added. Select the icon to visit the page outlining the properties.
Process - select the icon to add a Process.
Alarm - select the icon to add an Alarm.
Data Field - select the icon to add a Data Field.
Sampler - select the icon to add a Sampler.
Discrete Outputs
After selecting the Discrete Outputs tab, there will be 7 outputs available to be set up. Select the image below to visit the page outlining the properties.
Select an Output on the list to set it up.
Discrete Inputs
After selecting the Discrete Inputs tab, there will be 4 inputs available to be set up. Select the image below to visit the page outlining the properties.
Select an Input on the list to set it up.
Indicators
After selecting the Indicators tab, the indicators will be set up individually. Select the image below to visit the page outlining the properties.
Select the Plus icon to add an Indicator.
Virtual Inputs
After selecting the Virtual Inputs tab, the inputs will be setup individually. Select the image below to visit the page outlining the properties.
Select the Plus icon to add a Virtual Input.
Communications
After setting up an Alarm, the Communications tab will be available. Select the image below to visit the page outlining the properties.
Select the Communication tab to set up communication paths for an alarm.
Actions
After setting up an Alarm, Process, Data Field of Sampler the Actions tab will be available. Select the image below to visit the page outlining the properties.
Select the Actions tab to setup actions for any Monitoring Point.
