Overview
A Process is used to record a Start and Stop time. Generally this is used to record when a station/worker is in Production or running a Job/Job Order. This guide will cover how to add a Process without subordinate monitoring points. A Process can be added to the following device types BSC, TIM, PSM, PC BSC, & PC Input Module.


Requirements
See Requirements Here
1. The VT3000 Core Software installed and running on your system.
2. Hardware: Coordinator must be setup, powered and communicating with the VT3000 Core Software.
3. Software - PC BSC or PC Input Module plug in must be loaded in your system.
4. Hardware - BSC or TIM plugin must be loaded in your system.
5. Hardware - BSC, TIM or PSM must be powered & communicating with the system.

Step 1.
Open the VT3000 web interface – select VT3000 Core Software - log in – select Configuration – select Devices.

Step 2.
Select the Device that you want to add the Process from the list - select the Edit button.

Step 3.
Select the Monitoring Points tab.

Step 4.
Select the Add Process icon from the Monitoring Points toolbox.

Step 5.
Process Properties:

Process ID - assigned by VT3000 software.
Process Name - enter a name for the Process.
Mode - select Process.




Step 6.
Once the Process has been setup - select the Save & Exit button to save the changes.

Step 7.
The BSC, PSM & TIM module will have to be updated before the Data Field will appear on the screen. Click Here for instructions on updating the module.
