Overview
A Remote Coordinator is when you connect the Coordinator to an Ethernet Port. This guide will explain how to install the Driver/Software for the Real-Port Coordinator. See the image below to ensure your Coordinator is EXACTLY the same.
NOTE: - if your Coordinator is different from the image below, CLICK HERE to return to the Coordinator Home page.
The instructions below apply to the Real-Port Remote Coordinator purchased from VersaCall that has had the Static IP Address pre-installed or your IT department has received the MAC Address from VersaCall and setup a DHCP Reserved IP Address. If neither of these options have NOT been completed, please call VersaCall Support for assistance as the driver will not be able to connect to the device.

1. The VT3000 Core Software installed and running on your system.
2. VersaCall Computer/Server plugged into your network via Ethernet connection.
3. Real-Port Remote Coordinator.
4. Static IP Address pre-installed or DHCP Reserved IP.
5. Open Ethernet port in the mounting location for the Coordinator.
6. One available 110VAC outlet for power in the mounting location for the Coordinator.

Hardware Setup

Step 1.
Connect the Power Cord to the Coordinator.

Step 2.
Connect the Ethernet cable to the Coordinator.

Step 3.
Attach the Antenna to the Coordinator. This is a threaded connection - clockwise turn will tighten the Antenna - counter clockwise will loosen the Antenna.

Step 4.
Plug in the Ethernet Cable into an available port.

Step 5.
Plug the Power Cable into an open 110VAC outlet.

Software/Driver Setup

Step 1.
Download the Real-Port driver software from the link provided by VersaCall on the Computer/Server where the VersaCall Software is installed. Save the Zip file to an easily located folder. The Downloads folder is generally the default and the best location.

Step 2.
Unzip the RealPort Drivers file. A new "RealPort Drivers" folder will appear in the selected folder from the download.

Step 3.
Double-Click on the "RealPort Drivers" folder - Double-Click on the "Windows" folder - Double-Click on the "40002549_J" folder.

Step 4.
If you have a 32 bit Windows OS, Double-Click on the "Setup32.exe" file. If you have a 64 bit Windows OS, Double-Click on the "Setup64.exe" file.

Step 5.
Click on the Next button on the DIGI Setup Wizard.

Step 6.
Click on the IP Address, that was pre-installed/DHCP Reserved, in list. NOTE: if your IP Address does NOT show on the list, it means your Coordinator is on a separate Subnet CLICK HERE for instructions.

Step 7.
Click on the Next button.

Step 8.
Click on the down arrow in the Starting COM field.

Step 9.
Select a COM port number higher than "5".

Click on the Finish button.

Step 11.
The Install Progress screen will show, wait until the installation is complete.

Step 12.
Once the installation is completed, click on the Finish button.

Step 13.
Open the VT3000 web interface – select VT3000 Core Software - log in - select Administration – select System Settings – select Service.

Step 14.
Click on the Coordinators tab.

Click on the Add "+" icon.

Step 16.
Coordinator Properties:

Enabled - place a check mark in the box to enable the device.
Network Name - enter a name for the coordinator.
Driver - select the Digi Mesh 900HP driver.
Isolation Code - leave this set to 1 unless VersaCall instructs you to change it or you are familiar with what needs to be selected. Please contact VersaCall Support for questions.
Connection Method - select Serial.
Port - select the "ConnectPort X2D - Port 1 (COM#)". Your system will have a number after the COM that differs from what is shown in the image above.


Step 17.
Click on the Save & Exit button in the top right corner of the screen.

Step 18.
Select Yes on the Restart Service screen.

Step 19.
Ensure the VT3000 Service application is highlighted on the list - click on the Stop/Square icon.

Step 20.
Click on the Start/Tri-Angle icon.

Step 21.
Select Device Status under the Diagnostics heading on the navigation menu.

Step 22.
The new Coordinator will shown on the Device Status page in red. The connection will take 30 to 60 seconds to complete.

Step 23.
Once the connection is completed, the new Coordinator will show in black.
