Overview
A Paging Transmitter is used to send messages to individual Pagers. This guide will show how to configure a NEW 20-62 paging transmitter being connected to a Network (Ethernet) Port. Prior to installation, IT will need to provide a static IP address to VersaCall for setup. The 20-62 Remote Paging Transmitter will come Pre-Programmed when using an Static IP Address.
For a DHCP Reserved Address, the MAC Address can be provided by VersaCall prior to shipping or IT can setup it up once the transmitter is received. The Transmitter will come with a label that has the MAC Address printed on it.

1. The Current VT3000 Core Software installed and running on your system. Software versions prior to 2022 will not have the driver loaded for the New 20-62 Paging Transmitter.
2. VersaCall Computer/Server plugged into your network via Ethernet connection.
3. Paging Transmitter hardware.
4. For DHCP Reserved Adresses, IT Department will need to be present to set it up.
5. Open Ethernet port in the mounting location for the Paging Transmitter.
6. One 110VAC outlet for power in the mounting location for the Paging Transmitter.

Step 1.
Connect the Ethernet Cable to the available port on the side opposite of the antenna port.

Step 2.
Connect the green Power Cord connector to the available port - same side as Ethernet Cable.

Step 3.
Screw on the Antenna to the available connector - opposite side as Ethernet & Power connnections.

Step 4.
Connect the Ethernet Cable to an available port on your network.

Step 5.
Connect the Power Cable to an available Electrical Outlet.

Step 6.
Go to the VersaCall Computer - open the VT3000 home page - select Administration – System Settings – Service.

Step 7.
Select the Paging Transmitter tab – select the add “+” icon.

Step 8.
Use the settings below:

Enabled – click on the box to place a check mark – this will enable the device.
Description – enter any name for the transmitter.
Driver – select the Salcom 20-62 driver from the list.
Synchronization Code – leave this set to None.
Connection Method – select TCP Client from the list.
Address – type in the IP Address of the 20-62 transmitter. This will be either the Static IP Address that was pre-programmed or IT will provide the IP Address that was setup as DHCP Reserved.
Port - enter 4000.




Step 9.
Select the Save & Exit button.

Step 10.
Select Yes on the Restart warning message. This must be done to complete the setup.

Restart the VersaCall Service - Click here for Instructions.
