Overview

If you have a need to check the Paging Transmitter settings or if a VersaCall Technician asks you provide the settings, the instructions below will show you have to find them.

Requirements
|
1. The VT3000 Core Software installed and running on your system.
|
2. A Paging Transmitter (USB or Remote) setup, powered and communicating with the VT3000 Core Software.

Instructions
Step 1.
|
Open the VT3000 web interface – select VT3000 Core Software - log in – select Administration – select System Settings - select Service.

Step 2.
|
Select the Paging Transmitter tab.
|
|
Step 3.
|
Select your installed Paging Transmitter from the list so that it is highlighted.
|

Step 4.
|
On the right side of the list you will see these settings for a USB Paging Transmitter.
Enabled - this will be check marked indicating the transmitter is being used.
|
Description - the name of the Paging Transmitter.
|
Driver - this will show Salcom 12-62 - USB.
|
Synchronization Code - by default this will show None. Do not change this setting unless instructed to do so by a VersaCall Technician.

Connection Method - this will show as Serial.
|
Port - this will show as Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge (COM#). The COM number maybe different from the screen shot.

Step 5.
|
On the right side of the list you will see these settings for a Remote Paging Transmitter.
Enabled - this will be check marked indicating the transmitter is being used.
|
Description - the name of the Paging Transmitter.
|
Driver - this will show Salcom 12-62 - Remote.
|
Synchronization Code - by default this will show None. Do not change this setting unless instructed to do so by a VersaCall Technician.

Connection Method - this will show as TCP Client.
|
Address - this will show the IP Address being used by the RS-232 device.
|
Port - this will show as 4000.
|

Step 6.
|
Select the Discard & Exit button to exit the tab/page.
|
