VT3000 - Update Configuration - Battery Call Station

Overview Configuring a battery call station is slightly different from a powered call station. Below are instructions for configuring this device specifically.

Requirements See Requirements Here 1. The VT3000 Core Software installed and running on your system. 2. A Coordinator setup, powered and communicating with the VT3000 Core Software. 3. At least one Battery Powered Call Station communicating with the system. 4. A Call Station Configuration setup in the VT3000 Core Software.

Step 1. Using the Call Station hold down the program button & the # 1 button.

Step 2. All 3 LED’s in the top left corner of the Call Station will show solid.

Step 3. Open the VT3000 web interface – select VT3000 Core Software - log in – select Diagnostics – select Device Status. Diagnostics Device Status

Step 4. The Call Station will show on the Device Status screen in bold text. This indicates the device is in program mode – select the Options link. If the text is not in bold you will need to repeat Step #1.

Step 5. Select Configuration.

Step 6. Select the configuration for this device from the drop-down list – select the Update Configuration button.

Step 7. Select the Return to Device Status button.

Step 8. The Call Station will reboot on its own. When the reboot is complete you will hear the Call Station make an audible beep. The configuration will now be loaded on the Call Station. Check the Call Station Device Name, it should reflect the new configuration.
