VT3000 - Copy a Call Station Configuration

Overview When a new Call Station is added to you system and it has the EXACT same configuration of an existing Call Station, you can use the Copy function. This guide will explain how to duplicate and existing Call Station Configuration and assign it to a new location.

Requirements See Requirements Here 1. The VT3000 Core Software installed and running on your system. 2. A Coordinator must be setup, powered and communicating with the VT3000 Core Software. 3. An existing Call Station configuration. 4. New Call Stations needs to be powered and communicating with the system.

Step 1. Open the VT3000 web interface – log in - select Configuration - select Devices. Configuration Devices

Step 2. On the Devices page - select the Configuration you want to Copy/Duplicate so that it is highlighted.

Step 3. With configuration higlighted, click on the Copy button at the bottom of the Devices list.

Step 4. The Call Station Configuration page will open. On the Properties tab, the Device Name will show the same name plus (Copy) at the end.

Step 5. Delete the Copy Device Name - type in the name of the new station/location that you are creating.

Step 6. After the correct name has been entered, click on the Save & Exit button.

Step 7. The new Call Station Configuration will now appear in your Devices list.

Step 8. You will need to send the configuration to the Call Station. Select a link to the type of Call Station you purchased.
